Now They Just Need To Win One Out Of Two

From Last Night

Anyone out there who tells you they believed this was possible is lying. And I would say winning one of the next two in Miami is still a daunting task, but LeBron has decided to go into one of his weird funks. (There's an allegation that a Washington Wizard player may have hooked up with his girlfriend.)

Edit: From Richie Whitt's blog .....

If this year feels like last year, that's because it's eerily similar. In the 2010 Finals the Boston Celtics lost Game 1 to the Lakers in L.A., then won Game 2 to even the series. At home with three games, the Celtics lost Game 3 but then won 4 and 5 to take a 3-2 lead heading back to the west coast. But Boston, with two games to win one, lost Game 6 by 22 points and fell in an ugly Game 7, 83-79 . . . .

All of a sudden Jerry's Jumbo-Tron doesn't seem like a bad investment.

Barry, you just need to get on the Mav's wagon. Oh I forgot, you are too short to get on it!! GO MAVS!

Quit trying to make yourself feel better by painting us all as doubters. We believe(d) and you never did. Step aside junior and let the big boys eat. I think theres a spot for you at the kiddie table.

lebron = quitter, loser, chump

raised with no class. surrounded by no class. of course things like this will happen.

Just because you didn't think it was possible doesn't mean no one did. How arrogant that you think your opinion is more valid than someone elses!!! LAWYERS!!!

If the Mavs close it out, you should just keep your mouth shut. It's well documented what you thought their chances were.

The bandwagon has already left for Miami, Green. Too late for ya to jump on it now!!!

BG...You are what I like to affectionately call a douche-tool! One half douche bag, 100% tool! I actually thought this series would be 5 games tops after what they did to black mamba, who is still the best closer in the game. Really, after they trounced the Lakers you did not think they had a chance against the Heat? Side note: Tired of hearing the Jordan/LeBron comparison when Kobe has already proved he is the closest to Jordan as we have seen. D-wade is more Jordan-esque than the south beach sellout.

6:36 nailed it.

Barry....give up your failed Mavs doom.

You don't know sports but you love to give grandeur fail predictions.

You failed last year with the Rangers and you have failed again.

Give up your sports doom and gloom. You don't know sports whether or not the Mavs with the championship or not.

Dang BG, tough crowd this morning..I am thinking you are sweating it just a little..It's ok, you have permission to cheer the MAV's on..

This series proves that all those coaches we had in high school were right -- a team really can be greater than the individual players. A team can also be worse than its individual players. On pure talent, Heat has 3 out of the top 4 players but they are losing and will lose. This is a tribute to team sports.

Lawyers are always giving the "worst case scenario" to their clients. But BG, you weren't hired nor court appoitned for this case...so keep your "scenarios" to yourself! I know you toss these unintelligent comments out there just to get a rise out of your bloggers...

GO MAVS...ONE MORE WIN!

And I'll say that LeBron is incredible to watch. That guy is very talented. And I think he plays with class, has never gotten flagrant. 7:53 your an idiot.

BG....Your such a tool!!! You only Mav bash to get homers to complain about it.

i am beginning to think that you don't really know all that much about sports. your sports predictions are "tap the brakes" and that's it.

I'm going to take up for BG. Anybody who has lived in North Texas for a couple of decades knows how disappointing it can be to be a sports fan. Every year we get our hopes up only to have them dashed. You get pessimistic after a while.

From watching this series, Miami creates the impression they are toying with Dallas. They look like a superior team who could roar back and win at any time. Just look at the first period last night--the Mavs were playing well, but the Heat stayed close and went ahead at the end of the quarter. Same thing at the end of the game--the Heat drove ahead 100-97, then gave up. This explains why Wade spent so much time in the locker room.

Everybody makes more money when they play seven games. The Heat allowed Dallas to win so that they could win on their home court in two final games. We pessimists don't expect it to be that close.

Somebody needs to call 9-1-1 and put out a missing person's report on Mark Cuban. Where's he been? Maybe he's got a deal with the league--keep your mouth shut and we'll let you have a title.

11:44.......another tool.

11:06 ura dumbass. why dont u pull up what lebron and d-wade did today mocking dirk. Is this class in your book. you must be some of that trailer trash. Go back to picking your nose and drinking your milwaukees best. Moron.

11:44 there's only one champion each year so there are lots of cities with their hopes "dashed". every city in the u.s. would be pessimisitic.

Wade was in the locker room because he was having his hip examined.

There's is no way that miami would let the mavs go up 3-2 if they could "win at any time".

in summary you are a fing dumb*ss.

BG has the right to be a pessimist as he is a Baylor University fan.

NO WAY did Miami let Dallas win at any point in this series, and anyone who thinks so is either a Heat apologist or an idiot.
