Colin's dad told me that shortly after Colin began practicing with TCU, that some of the boys on the team nicknamed him "Wheels", a high compliment for a white kid.
Decatur dominated Bridgeport during the time that kid was in school. Decatur regularly out coaches Bridgeport coaches in spite of the better athletes in Bridgeport. Coach Story will one day win again in Decatur. Okay, maybe not until they get some talent but it will occur.
Kolb was smart and left for s-ville....u dumb asses can't claim him he's from stephenville...at least we had kyle clifton who played and started 14 yrs for the jets....just like a dork from decatur to try and claim something that's not there....nice reach!!!idiot
You are correct, except for the fact that Kevin went to junior high in Decatur, and was in the same grade as former Bridgeport standout Philip Daugherty. Man, to see those two gunning it out against each other would have been great, although former Decature QB Chandler Dane was really good in his own right.
over the years bridgeport has had better players than decatur.. j.allen, p daughtery, j deluna, c. jones.. and so on.. these only a few.. and they do something in the playoffs there not one and done... keep reaching...and c.jone did dominate while he was at bridgeport...
I with 2:53pm I wonder if any great decatur players have played in any meaningful game while in high school..much less college.....a couple of years ago they killed wyle in the regular season and typical decatur...choked in the playoffs...just face it bridgeport has a better football program than decatur...
