A Second Ago On The Radio

A guy from Decatur (Jake?) called WBAP to answer the question of "What would you say to President Obama if you were in an elevator with him?"

He formed a construction company three years ago with his brother and has grown from six employees to 100? And he's mad?

And you can't believe some of the other responses. Wow. Then again, maybe you would.

Audio link. (Only about a minute of it because the guest host took over.)

He's the kind of guy you just nod and smile at when he talks.

He was mad because of taxes/fees, etc. he has to pay.

Did you hear the one who said he would expel gas in the elevator?

Can you get the whole clip. I only heard a little of it.

We certainly are a half empty society. What a great opportunity this young man has had to work hard, succeed, and have more than many others his same age.

Despite a crashed economy, he has managed to be successful. Sounds like Obama didn't hurt him one bit.

Congratulations to him! I hope he can switch his mindset to half full, and continue to work hard to fill it up with new opportunities.

So Jake hired 100 illegals and added 200 of their children to the Decatur ISD.

Guys like Jake run their mouths about the country all the time, no matter who is in office, they always find someone to hate on. They are never to fault for anything, but instead are always being held down by "the man." And they always want to bitch about how "hard" the economy is and how the country is heading to hell because of *fill-in-the-blank*

And after boring your ass to death, they mention that they have to run to the Southlake Apple store because they dropped their iPhone in the beach in Cancun, then go get into a new 3/4 diesel Pickup, and drive off.

Excuse me while I work up a tear.

Don't get me wrong. The good Lord blesses me and my work is well rewarded. I don't begrudge anyone their dollars they have or don't have. But I also don't predict each time we see each other that the dollar is going to crash. Or that Depression is upon us.

I know who that was. Not going to name his name out of respect.

I will say this....He really doesn't have anything to complain about. He is doing better than most of us. Unfortunately, he's not the brightest guy I know.

I liked the guy that said he would pray for Obummer and his staff because although they might be smart, they certainly weren't smart enough to try and run the country.
