What do you want to bet her scumbag ambulance chasing ex husband will sue the hospital for malpractice? The same scumbag that wanted to take the profits out of the healthcare industry. There would be sweet justice if he goes to prison for misuse of campaign contributions to pay for his fun baby.

this is one of those times that no words are enough.

Don't even think of including her in the trifecta with Don Meredith and Ron Santo.

I think (for once) a family kept this out of the media , hopefully for the sake of her young children, and when she took a turn for the worse yesterday, they felt it was the time to make the announcement about what the doctors had told them. This prognosis wasn't from the last few days! Thank God someone in that family has some sense. John Edwards is an adult and will get what's coming to him. Those children have lost their mother and that void will never be filled. I feel for them! RIP.

I'm very saddened. No woman should have to endure her husband's infidelity whilst she is battling cancer........deadly cancer! John Edwards has no concern for his wife or his own children. There should be no looks of scorn cast his way during her funeral because he should not even be there!! He gave her up long ago because he is a coward who could not stand by his dying wife! SCUM BAG!

A lady of intelligence, dignity and class that her children will remember forever. Now she is reunited with her son.

Stand by. Oprah will run the interview she did with Elizabeth and the jerk..just a matter of time.

3 words...Inspirational, Resilient, Class! She will be missed! Thoughts and prayers to her children! You were a great lady and a great example Elizabeth Edwards!

I wonder if her husband saw this coming? I always liked his show where he talked to dead people.

Wise County also lost a citizen to cancer - Kim Tinkham. She was the owner/publisher of Wise Youth Today/Wise Family magazine. Remember she was on the Oprah show? Please mention this as a separate blog post Barry.

For once, I agree with all of the posts here before mine, save one (10:11), relating to Mrs. Edwards, and the lovely Kim. God bless you both!!
