Wise County DA's Office Shake Up

Assistant DA Paige McCormick is resigning to go to work for the Tarrant County DA's office.
Assistant DA Kevin Henry is resigning to enter private law practice with his wife in Denton.
(Be nice in the comments, I have to work with that office.)

I fear the replacements.

Am I the only one who thinks there might be a link between these folks leaving and Barry working with their office?

Sounds like they are moving on to bigger and better things.

I heard that power has gone to Greg Lowery's head and that he is a dangerous man that he needs to leave that office also...

4:51, maybe he's just dangerous to those who break the law. I'm just happy to have a DA who is finally doing a good job!

Don't go there 4:51You make it seem like your taking up for a friend. What ever the reason Wise County is losing out at the leaving of two awesome prosecutors. Thanks to them both for all they did for Wise County.

Oops I meant don't go there 7:44 sorry 4:51.

From a close observer--No, power hasn't gone "to Greg's head". He's the same ol' Greg he's always been. Paige just decided to leave, and Kevin has been thinking about leaving and working with his wife for some time now. There are no real "issues" in the DA's office. In fact, it's beennice to see that office run so smoothly.

"Don't go there 4:51 (later corrected and readdressed to 7:44)You make it seem like your taking up for a friend. What ever the reason Wise County is losing out at the leaving of two awesome prosecutors. Thanks to them both for all they did for Wise County."

This is 7:44, and I have NO IDEA what you're talking about when you say I'm taking up for a friend?
I never said anything other than Greg Lowrey is doing a good job (finally we have a DA who IS doing a good job) and that yes, he is probably dangerouse to those who break the law. (Isn't that who is supposed to fear his position as a prosecutor?)

Your comment to me made no sense at all, unless you misunderstood me in the first place.

My thanks goes to those in the DA office who do their jobs well!

Jail doesn't always rehabilitate people.
First time felons are eligable for probation, which Lowery isn't offering for DWI III plea bargain offers.
There are many people that need rehabilitation not years and years of jail time. Many of these people may not have had an arrest for years and years. Then oops they left a wedding and fall in the 2 o/o that get caught just impaired not sloppy drunks and haven't been reckless. Just a small infraction, speeding, that people do sober also.
Once some folds have reached this level of penalty group you can bet they won't chance it again, but instead givem 6 or years in jail and the tax payers can pay for them and their families because of loss of income...
Some people are so self rightous.

drink much 10:55?

and, btw: 10:55, IF jail doesn't rehabilitate them, then they're just too ignorant to be out of jail. Leave them in there for others' sakes.
