The guy shows up three hours late for a misdemeanor court date in Tarrant County so the judge orders his bond revoked and taken into custody. The defendant then takes off.
Poor decision making on everyone's part.

WHAT! Poor dicision on the judges part, I dont think so. EXPLAIN PLEASE.
SO Barry... You think that it was ok? I'm sure this is how you conduct business. "My client has an appointment with me at 1pm" "Its cool, if I show up and make them wait until 5pm" Your such a great attorney
I have an idea, instead of jail and bonds for the less than felony crimes lets just break an ankle like the movie Misery. The severity of the break would coincide with the seeverity of the charge that way the really bad but less than felony criminals couldn't run.
The only poor decision here was not respecting the rules that society has in place. It's quiet the stretch to think that a Judge made a poor decision for holding a citizen accountable for his lack of ability to take the court appearance seriously. If he was truly remorseful for his actions (speaking of the ones that led him to a court date to begin with) he would have been to his court appointment early and present for the calling of the docket. I'm still trying to understand what you mean everyones part.

Well, the frequent flyer misdemeanor types aren't bred for brains! Don't know if this guy was a regular, but he looks like it.
Maybe he had diarrhea pants. It could happen.
