Midwestern State?

The condemnation, the shaking, the tension, and the awkwardness. (I saw this yesterday when it was just labeled "A school in Texas". Today a user on youtube says its Midwestern State up in Wichita Falls.)

I know this will get ridiculed...so have at it.....HOWEVER She had a lot of courage to do what she did. Jesus is always mocked and He is not very popular but she loves Him so much she just wants to share Him with a crowd of people. I wish God's love and someones desire to share it was more the norm at events then a strange freakish display.

Just a few observations...
* Obtaining a degree from "Midwestern State up in Wichita Falls" is not an indication of intelligence.

* Old guy who begins reading at the 44 sec. mark KNOWS the chick is feather plucking insane.

* I was glad to see, at the 1:15 mark, the guy come stand beside her and I was not the only one who thought the chick was having a seizure.

* At the 1:42 mark when she started wailing and shaking, I had hopes she would throw herself to the ground and froth from the mouth so I kept watching...watching...watching and was rewarded, for my patience, at the 2:10 mark.

* You have to get real shiver how they proceed with the program, while the girl is wailing and writhing on the floor, as though there is nothing amiss.

More PROOF that Christianity is like Islam and chock full of NUTTERS.

Thank you for highlighting the FACT that there is really NO distinction between someone who is emotionally/mentally unstable and someone who is a religious zealot.

let me just say mzchief... that obtaining a degree from Midwestern State was a pretty great accomplishment... now I know why everyone is annoyed by you. I'm sure your kids will take a couple classes over at the Wal-Mart University before eventually dropping out!

Thank you for proving my point about graduates from Midwestern State.

FYI...After having obtained a degree in pre-med/Chemistry and a degree in Chemical Engineering, last May, from OU, Son mzchief is finishing up his first year in dental school and is on track to becoming an oral surgeon.

Forgive us for Idolatry? In the middle of a ceremony with banners, seals, robes rooted in the Dark Ages, mortar boards, and vellum (actually fine cotton parchment now-a-days)? Man, she picked the right venue. All that was missing was the speaking in tongues.

mzchief, it says a lot about you that you made the claim that obtaining a degree from MSU is not a sign of intelligence.

MSU is a solid and reasonable choice, both academically and economically for many people. While the entrance requirements are not as high as some universities, the work, education, and learning required to obtain a degree is still significant. A degree from MSU, and many other similar institutions, is important and valuable.

You and others on this blog regularly complain about the people that don't pull their own weight and encourage them to get an education and get a job. Yet, you choose to denigrate the accomplishments of some of the people that attempted to improve themselves.

There's a word for people like you.

Obviously, you have confused education with intelligence.

I know several highly intelligent people who have minimal education.

I stand by my original statement, "Obtaining a degree from "Midwestern State up in Wichita Falls" is not an indication of intelligence."

There is a name for people like me however, people like me are few and far between. Unfortunately, people like me are required, far too frequently, to encounter and tolerate people like you.

Again, thank you for proving my point.
