Not many details yet, but the Fort Worth PD is in trouble again. This time a cop was arrested for marijuana possession while on duty. KRLD says there is also a charge of Tampering With Evidence. Makes you wonder what is going on there. Edit: He was smoking in the patrol car? [Link fixed]The cop has admitted possession and resigned.
In light of one Fort Worth cop being indicted for Intoxication Manslaughter, another recently being arrested for DWI and driving into a house, and a group of officers under investigation for lying about overtime, the Chief might want to start worrying about his job.

I bet The Backdoor Intruder is a Ft. Worth cop.
Pretty sad that now Dallas looks like the clean department.

Double fake: Big Mama
i bet he stole that weed from the backdoor intruder during the raid on the rainbow lounge
We're Drugs or Alcohol involved?
the city of fort worth ought to confiscate that car under the asset forfeiture laws.
Things have been going downhill in FWPD ever since they lost Mendoza. I would be asking the senior leadership why the street officers have run amok. And if the cops on patrol are this far out of line, makes me wonder what vice is up to?
He was out on a code 420.
Drugs or alcohol are probably involved when you thing "we're" (which is short for "we are") is correctly being used for "were" (the past tense of "are")

Your second link is to a directory on your computer, Barron. And PC Magazine Utilities? Really?
Cops and crooks are cut from the same cloth!
Fort Worth needs a reincarnation of the late Thomas Windham. He appeared to have a great handle on big city policing. The early COPS seen on Fox TV that were filmed in Fort Worth were with his full cooperation. He felt that anything done by a cop on duty could be filmed & shown to the world. No secrets. No backrooms. No PR spokesman. A good cop doing an honest job was the best trust builder with the general public. And when the time came for house cleaning, Windham was not a wallflower. If firing was required, they were out the door that day (unless Civil Service overrode). Fearless guy.
My Other Brother Darryl
Rumor has it he was listening to Iron Butterfly playing "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" at the time of the arrest.

Wow! Who would've ever guessed that a Ft. Worth cop smoking pot on the job might be a black dude?
Pardon my stereotyping. It's just that it's so damned accurate that it's hard to resist.
DAGO: He was really pissed when I saw him on the news.I'll bet the M F words were back to back in tiny brain.
Probably just treating his glaucoma or fybromyalgia--pardon my spelling!
DPS is next, that's why COPS don't film it. Come on we are talking about the most supreme law enforcment in the country.......... right.
Face it. Cops are not necessarily the best and brightest we have available. Most perform well but there are plenty of marginal operators.
