City of Denton Book In Photo Of The Day

They are throwing 17 year olds in the hoosegow for contempt of court? Sheesh. And since this is the City of Denton jail, I'm pretty sure the "court" was the Denton Municipal Court. Here's another 17 year old booked in for the same thing about 30 minutes later. He doesn't look too happy.

"Contempt of court"
I'm just a dumb country boy....but would that possibly mean that they were being "typical todays teenager" (which I've coined TTT)and were being loud and disruptive during court?

Don't know what to think about this but do know, Denton cops are ruthless. GEEZ! 17 years old? Let's get them some help, not throw them in jail.

Damn shame a camera can just print photos instead of thoughts.I can probably read his mind and DAGOhe could read mine also.

Barry, can you use your influence to get David Walker to have such a site for Wise County? After all, we do have pics of all the registered sex offenders.

Surely we can keep up with the Republicans in Denton County.

If you don't have enough money to pay the fine for contempt, keep your smart mouth shut!

"They need help, not jail." Good golly, it's not like they are going to stay for very long. Crocodile tears.

7:33am. Maybe she doesn't have the money. Maybe she's on her own, working some crappy job just trying to pay her bills. So don't lay down a blanket statement like you did without knowing the circumstances.
