I think that when you plug in all of the various ways conservatives are rationalizing the broad spectrum of issues that affect us helps explain why this current president and his Nazi-like regime will almost break this country's back by the time he leaves office.
The only thing tougher than carrying the world's burdens on your shoulders, is trying to solve everything by throwing more wasteful, inefficient government at problems that only exist so people can get more hand-outs and psuedo-liberal politicos can buy more votes. That's right, I'm one of the happy ones!

You know, what pisses me off is the fact we are sitting here paying out the butt for gas and those ego-maniacs in Washington are getting everthing on the "teet" (so to speak). They drive Cadillacs, Benz, BMW's, Lexus, etc. and we are paying for it. We pay for the lease on their vehicles, gas, registration, etc. There is not one person that can convince me they give a rats-ass.
All in all, it won't make a crap who's in the Whitehouse until we tell the Ragheads and OPEC to kiss our ass.
Why does anyone deserve a free pass and why should the government mandate someone share their accomplishments with a person who has done nothing to better themselves?
I just need a simple answer to help me understand. Someone please explain.
We happy ones rationalize, as you say, this way: Liberals want to keep the minorities powerless so you can buy their votes, and you want to keep the lower class thinking they have no chance unless they lean on government (read: LIBERAL government).
Liberals want to raise taxes and make it harder on businesses, because businesses create jobs and, therefore, make it harder for liberals to make people live off the government teet. How many government programs would be better run if they were privatized? Many of them. However, Liberals want MORE government involvement, not less.

Therefore, a valid conclusion would be that conservatives are rational and liberals are irrational??? Works for me.
Considering how "equality" is a manmade idea -- the concept does not exist in nature -- one could surmise that Liberal beliefs in "equality" under any and all circumstances are unnatural, whereas the understanding and acceptance that inequality exists is natural.
If you believe in true equality, then why isn't there a Liberal outcry for more white NBA players?

Economic injustice is having your factory job eliminated by sending manufacturing jobs to China. Economic injustice is after losing you factory job you find work as a carpenter, only to be fired because the whore builder found an illegal that would work cheaper. Social injustice is being poor, black and uneducated with one of our brothers running for president and encouraging the illegals to continue coming across the border and taking our jobs. Social injustice is Al Gore using 200,000 KWH of electricity when he could adjust his thermostat, sweat a little and share his vast wealth with the poor of his state and stop melting the polar ice caps (I haven't turned my a/c on yet - my last month useage was 470 KWH). I will try to hold out until June 1). Since the liberals want to send jobs to China and encourage the illegals who took our jobs, they will give us welfare and free health care (also free heath care for the illegals since the builder is not paying for health insurance).

I too am happy. I'm so friggin happy that there will be a democrat in the office of the president come January 09. Now that is something to be THRILLED about. Oh yea, I work about 50 hours a week at a job I love, contribute to worthwhile charities, love the Lord and smoked pot in the 60's and 70's. I have never received public assistance, support my country and respect the President (whether I like him or not) never used crack but love a cold beer. So there.
On the Dem in the White House in 09? I really respect your faith-ain't gonna happen though.
The sad/strange thing about the Bush Presidency is if he had stayed out of Iraq, he would have been remembered as one of our most beloved presidents,in spite of himself.
If you can't make it on your own in America then your just doomed to start with. We are the land of opportunity but so many people choose to be beggers, homeless, drug addicts, and ect... 340 - Gern can speak for himself, but you should give credit to Conservatives who have criticized Republicans for spending like Democrats. Cutting tax rates worked; exorbitant spending lost the GOP control of Congress in 2006.
416- It might be pointed out that the Enron scandal occurred during the Clinton administration, and they got caught during the Bush administration. Did Clinton turn a blind eye, hmmm?
