I don't get it. She's his wife and that is a rival fan trying to distract him- correct? He can see her NAKED any time he wants. If you wanted to distract wouldn't you put up a photoshop pic of him French kissing Ernest Borgnine or something?
Maybe he does not really like his wife and this distracted him and he missed the free throw? Maybe while he was in the Big Easy, he had sex with some strange and it reminds him that he should have been faithful to his wife and he missed the free throw. Maybe he he did not even see the photo and made the free throw? Maybe he really likes his wife and this made him lonely and he missed the free throw.

And he is married to a hot TV actress.
