You do NOT want to go to Wise County Park this weekend. We came in from fishing at 2am this morning and there were 5 Sheriff's cars and the "Mobile Command Post" all set up. I was told last weekend one of the Constables wrote over 200 tickets for glass containers out there (unconfirmed).

Every five minutes I hear them on the scanner calling in cars at wise county park as "suspicious vehicles". What is so suspicious about going to the lake on a holiday weekend? They just have to find a way to pull people over and jack with them with no probable cause for the stop in the first place. Wise County sucks.

Where is this Wise County Park? I see a brown sign right past the Chico High School for Wise County Park. Is this the same place you are all talking about? I only know about it because I have to go to Mineral Wells from time to time, and choose the scenic way.
And another question....since all the coppers seem to be at Wise County Park this weekend, do y'all think it's safe if we go to Black Creek Lake?

If the cops stop one drunk from leaving the park and prevents one traffic death this weekend then I don't mind them stopping me and taking a look to see if I can walk. This a weekend to remember those who died defending our freedom. You don't need to show your respect for them by getting s_ _ _ faced drunk. My father died drunk, run over by a train. Wish a cop had of found him before the train did. I missed having a father.
Went out there just riding around about 7:15 PM Saturday 05/24, and there was a lot of people out there. Turned around at the old cafe and came right back out. A really big crowd.
We put god fearing Republicans in control. That's what happened.

Off this topic, but...Decatur must be on a "rally" route. There is silver car after silver car with blue numbers on them going through town this early Sat morning. Anybody know what the rally is for? about? anything? Never seen this before through here........

As an "old" guy, I'm kinda glad those officers are at Wise County Park---if you're not doing something to interfere with other folks enjoyment of the park---I somehow think you won't be bothered. Downright shame the way that works ain't it?

Who needs to go to Wise County park when you can have fish at the DQ, check out the new restroom, and drive by and see Speedo man on your way home? You can do all of this in the air conditioner also!

3:02 - funny one. Wise County Park likely had their share of Republican drunks out there. Then later around the lake they probably lit candles and had a prayer meeting.
Frankly, I'm glad the county mounties were out there to get the drunks off our Wise County roads. It's bad enough to drive in this county when stone sober.

Those cars were all headed to the new racetrack in Slidell. It's funny they publicly invited anyone out to check it out for free, but when my son and I went out there they wouldn't let us in.
