Slight Double Take

I have to admit that I had to re-read that last line. But I guess it's grammatically correct.

I did the same thing!

Not grammatically correct. Should be a comma after AZLE.

Methinks they condensed the content a WEE bit too much! But of course, we shouldn't expect journalists to be good with grammar, should we?

They are doing a story about raising your labido on the Today show Barry.

9:55, my wife was going to have her labido raised and tightened. She thought that might help with her libido.

Are we reaching a little for blog fodder? And by the way, it is LIBIDO, for all of you spelling bee champions out there.

Someone is mourning the loss of a child and all you can do is grade the grammar. It's so sad that she lost her child, but it's even more sad that people can't have compassion for people in such a sad time.

No comma necessary. The sentence starts with "Funerals" (plural), indicating more than one will be described. Oh wait, in Wise County the correct spelling would be Funeral's.

there should not be a comma after Azle you wiz r before and in just about any reference. go back to chico and let this family that lost a baby mourn

Good to see that Barry's post did not go over anyone's head!

Yes, there should be a comma after Azle. "the infant daughter....of Azle" is an appositive phrase. It is not part of the LIST of funerals, but is a phrase put in to tell us who the child belonged to. Appositive phrases are set off with commas. Yes, I am sorry for the loss, but I wasn't the one who started the grammar question. That would be Barry.

12:55, from what you wrote, I don't believe you should be trying to correct anyone's grammar.

I played on the Coker Funeral Home little league baseball team; were the worst team in the whole county. Other teams called us Croaker Funeral Home. My pitches kept getting hit out of the park. That was not a very fun summer.
