Story. And Jerry Jones won't say how much the personal seat licenses will be (the purchaser will have the right to renew his season ticket every year.)
But for reference: The Cowboys used "seat options" (same basic concept, kinda) in the early 1970s to finance Texas Stadium. They cost $250 way back then.
I think the Texas Motor Speedway used personal seat licenses, but I don't know how much they cost.
Edit: A faithful reader has discovered that the Cowboys sell a handful of PSLs right now for Texas Stadium.

In case you missed,it Forbes has listed the Cowboys as the most valued sports franchise, 1.5 billion. I think that this was an estimate once the new stadium is complete.
This is outstanding. I wish that I owned something so desperately coveted by tens of thousands that they would pay big bucks just to get in line to pay big bucks for it, and then not mind one bit when I ask for five times normal price for things that only I can give them when they are in their seats that they paid twice for. God bless Jerry. Only one thing could make it better. Jerry, please be sure that every single moment of "dead space" at all games and for the hour or two of pregame time is filled with ear-splitting rap music so loud that a person can not actually talk to someone sitting next to them. We'll pay more for that. Heck, I'll pay just to have the chance to help you pay for some of those speakers.
Southlake has had these since they were in the new stadium, haven't they?
I know that in 1992, a pair of season tickets were mentioned in a divorce settlement.
Jerry Jones has conned the taxpayers of Arlington and the football crazed fans into engorging his bank account. Who's at fault? I suggest the folks who suck up to these sports zillionaires and give them their hard earned $$ for a variable and questionable product. Jones is a jerk. Pro football is like watching gladiators (remember how they wound up). F'ing frivolous.
8:49. correct. It's not Jerry, it's "us". If I could set up a lemonade stand today and charge $1,000 per glass and watch people line up to pay it.
PSL Seats at TMS require a $3,000 upfront fee...then you have to pay for the seats each year. To their credit at least the seats individually are not over priced in my opinion. They stay about the same each year, which is around $550 for a season ticket. They are even cheaper if you don't sit in the PSL section. The best part is that you can bring anything you want to the events short of glass, which cuts down on total costs to its customers. Say what you want about NASCAR, but they know how to treat their fans. I just wish they would stop letting people smoke in the stands. I don't see that happening anytime soon!
If I'm not mistaken, you can find the personal seat licenses price at this location.
