Just goes to show what money, a high dollar lawyer with a doctor in his backpocket can do for ya!

As I understand they let her out of jail for very valid reasons. The poor girl had stopped eating and there was a potential for medical side effects of that choice. The authorities were correct in their choice to release her.

I think we should release all prisoners if they show evidence that they are not eating 3 well balanced meals a day. (insert vomit audio)

She got out for two reasons:

Boobs and Bank Balance

How disgusting!

Oh she is so trashy hot and I love it. The things I would do to her if it lasted longer than 5 seconds.

Her early ticket out was probably due to offering the judge and the sheriff a free copy of her newly released smokin hot jail video!!!

HOW THE HELL IS THIS FAIR?

Biggest load of crap and bunch of wussie California people I ever heard of. You will have a hard time explaining to me why this was justified.

I AM SO HAPPY PARIS IS FREE NOW!

I was pissed when they reduced her 45 day jail sentence to 23 and the Bitch still only serves 4 days in the pen. I'm sure she was having a mental break down and so called "panic attacks". IT'S JAIL!! It's not suppose to be a pleasent experiance. Poor Paris . . . she has to be banned to her mansion for 40 days, boo hoo!! What kind of punishment is that for puting other people in danger! Wander which sheriff got a bonus after she was released?

"Boobs and bank balance"

I might agree with the latter, but boobs? She's flatter than a pancake. You'd think that someone with her "bank balance" would see fit to buy some. I still don't think that some store bought boobs would help though. I just don't think she's that pretty.

Yet another example of injustice in our country!!

I hear not only was the food bad, her cell cold and lighting bad, but the coke was crappy, the sex wasn't nearly as good as advertised and she was not permitted to wear a crotchless jumpsuit. As result, her incarceration was considered inhumane.

By the way. The coke in Canadian prisons is considered much better.

You had to search long and hard for that picture, didn't you Bu-Bear? ;)

well... i'm certainly no defender of paris hilton, but she did serve 3 days in jail for driving on a suspended driver's license. that's not really what i'd call a serious crime. seems to me like the punishment more or less fit the crime here.

Oh, that "Bu-Bear" stuff makes me laugh.

It wasn't the driving violation that constituted the jail sentence. It was her failure to appear in court for that charge. Regardless, she was sentenced to more than 20 days and because of her status, she was let off. There's no excuse for that.

In answer to 11:43--it ain't fair. And yes, 11:49, California IS full of wussies when it comes to enforcing their laws when it involves these so-called "celebrities". This is from a local lawyer.

Such bs....did they forget why she was there? OH that’s right she got a DWI and for that she got a slap on her pretty little rich wrist...boohoo. Her only "punishment" was she couldn’t drive, so what does she do? Drive, then she doesn’t go to court. Ok the not going to court thing happens all the time to everyday normal people (forget whatever) so ok I can see that get arrested reschedule, but driving with no dl after a dwi anyone else would have gotten a lot more time and it wouldn’t be cut in half for good behavior before they even set foot in a jail. And who has ever heard of getting out because you don’t eat or have panic attacks while you sit in you cell all by yourself while you get special treatment by the guards and everyone else you come in contact with. Such bs!

AHEM!
So, which ONE of YOU champions of justice and defenders of fairness would DECLINE the opportunity to get out of JAIL early or have your 26 year old child get out of JAIL early and DEMAND to serve in JAIL with the GENERAL POPULATION the FULL term of the sentence handed down for driving on a suspended license?

I thought so!

Schadenfreude does NOTHING but prove the depths of pettiness to which SOME people can succumb.

Mzchief again gets it wrong. Paris was sent to jail for repeated offenses and failing to show up in court. The jail time was the only way to get her attention. But now the poor thing is too sick or cold to serve her already reduced sentence. Real fairness? And many wonder why our legal system is so broken. The rich skate for most any reason, the poor do time for the most minor offenses.

Please note on page 3, paragraph 2 of the OFFICAL documents submitted to The Superior Court of California by the L.A. City Attorney's office the REASONS substantiating the request revoking Paris Hilton's probation.
"(1)Failing to obey all laws and orders of this Court; (2) driving a motor vehicle without a valid license: and (3) failing to enroll in the SB 1176 alcohol education program within 21 days of this Courts January 22,2007 order as required by that order." The last paragraph on page 2 and the first paragraph on page 3 enumerate the occasions upon which Hilton was stopped for driving with a suspended license.

Nowhere in the document does it cite that Paris Hilton EVER failed to appear in court.

Just a suggestion, PRIOR to deciding SOMEONE other than YOU is WRONG, make a point to know a FEW facts about what the bloody Hell YOU are saying (Or NOT because stupid looks really good on YOU.)

Gawd I wish I was standing outside that window rignt now.

Mzchief, didn't you write, "...of the sentence handed down for driving on a suspended license."?

Then your go on in another post to list at least 3 charges made by the court. Well, which is it? A simple driving on suspended license or the 3 things the court cited? Maybe you, your-always-right-self, should check your facts before posting.
