Fox 4 ......Pause........News

I received a report from a faithful and beloved reader that Fox 4 News will be doing a story on the "no indigent health care for illegal aliens" tonight at 9:00 p.m. I didn't see the news van up at the courthouse, but I didn't get to stick my head out of there between 1 and 4 today.

Edit: Yep, the story showed up. No new information, however. Although Paradise legend Greg Lowery did make a TV appearance.

Call the Sheriff and ask him. Fox 4 is his favorite and we all wonder why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am GLAD the Commissioners Court has done what they did. I do not want my tax dollars to be spent on people that are not legal citizens

Since when does Paris Hilton come before someone not getting health care? Our news system is so screwed up. But our County Attorney did great!

Bud Kennedy has already lambasted our commissioner's court in Sunday's paper. Too bad he can't find things to write about in his own town!

I appreciate the court for watching out for our tax dollars.

And Greg Lowery is a great guy!

If Fox 4 news had taken a poll among Wise County tax payers, I'm sure only a few would say that they wanted their tax dollars spent to give up to $30,000 a year to illegal aliens for clinical health care. The majority of tax payers understand that we cannot provide illegals who enter our country illegally $30,000 in health care.

Many Wise County taxpayers do not have health insurance and cannot afford it. They do not qualify for indigent health care unless they earn less $41 a week or less. That means people who qualify cannot work or do not want to work.

As a taxpayer, I'm glad the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram and Fox News covered the right decision not to provide illegals with indigent health care unless they are in jail.

With other counties taking the same actions, Wise County would be overrun with applications. I think that is what Sue Black was telling the commissioners was happening.

Charity begins at home and we have a lot of our own citizens who need health care.

I'm not sure why Wise County is getting such negative coverage over this decision. While running the story on Wise County, Fox 4 said Tarrant County passed the same law 3 years ago. Apparently, it's not that unheard of.

Since I don't watch Fox News, I hope our county attorney said Wise County is just following in Tarrant County footsteps. Tarrant County did the same thing three years ago.

Illegals can still get emergency care, but not up to $30,000 in indigent care to be used in doctor visits.

I'm confident Greg Lowery did a good job in the interview.

The Man The Myth THE LEGEND

We call him BIGFOOT around these parts cuz he stomps a mudhole in crimes ass bygawd.

Who cares if Tarrant County did this first. If so, then they are my hero. Why is government, local or otherwise, so scared to stand up and do what's right, like enforcing the laws. If we support every criminal alien then we need to open the flood gates and let them all in. See what kind of country we would have then. WALL TO WALL PEOPLE. NO Natural resources for anyone, and pollution like we've never seen it before. No citizenship, no healthcare = go home.

We only had ONE illegal in the system. This was a huge overkill and a BUBAR that reeks of politics.
