I don't know about them stealing, but that's what happened to me before I quit AA. Nothing like an 18% pay cut plus benefits and still get to work 2nd and 3rd shift and get to be called an ramp rat on top of that.

You are correct. After all was said and done the total compensation give back was 30% of your pay to keep the airline flying.
Then upper management gave each other million dollar bonuses and tried to bullshit us that they were "Stock Options" which they got to exercise to the tune of MILLIONS.
Now they are talking about doing away with my pension after 20 years. You were smart to leave if you had limited time invested but when you are in your 40's you have this much time invested most of our choices are limited.

to answer you 10:28, there is alot more than meets the eye. I have no problem w/ Bridgeport getting a hosp. the problem is I was involved with the project from the beginning and they have never had enough money to support the project and Screwed Johnson controls and A general Contractor out of alot of time and money. Typical small timers who don't have a clue and think because you have the title of Dr. that makes you god of everything. They soon found out you can't morgatage a farm in Chico to pay for a hosp. now they are trying it with OPM..Other People's Money.

You are correct there is a lot more than meets the eye. If a contractor does not do their job, should they be paid?
As for you OPM comment, I think Decatur built their hospital with OPM (Other People’s Money). Did any body from the Decatur Hospital actually put their own money into their project? From what I have read, the doctors supporting the Bridgeport Hospital actually put millions of their own dollars at risk (so I guess you can mortgage the farm in Chico to build a hospital).

Lets see, docs own the hospital and the equipment...Diagnosis...Good Insurance, keep them in here and run all the test we can...Medicare or No insurance, ship their low/no paying ass out of here.
