He can follow through if his advisors say to: Rove, Cheney....Barbara Bush..............Almighty God!........(and only if Robertson, Falwell, etc say God gave them the word.........)
But he is carrying through with this war.A man of true character.
Maybe Congress takes hime serious and passes what we he suggests.Bully pulpit!
Last week he past James Monroe's record of having the second longest time in office w/o vetoing a bill. Next up for Number one: Thomas Jefferson (he never vetoed a bill his entire time in office)
He is definately a good guy. Heard that he was coming to our new 10.4 million dollar law enforcement center for an open house in April. Hope he likes it, my hard earned tax dollars paid a hell of alot for a freaking jail. Now the high dollar president wants to come see the high dollar jail. Not sure when, but I definately will be there
Bush is a confused, pathetic little man with various psychological complexes. Today I saw him attempt to respond extemporaneously to some students from a DC college. He stumbled, hemmed and hawed and verbally danced around questions without coming close to a complete sentence or answer. If he is unable to read his responses (written by staffers) he is totally inept. He's an embarrassment.
I heard today (4-10-2006) he has a 38% job approval rating. That's pathetic.
Like any of you assholes could do better? I have met him personally and he is a man of his word. If you can't back the President whom ever it is, MOVE TO MEXICO. This is for you M&M
7:41 - so you've met him. And you still believe the endless mangled prose from this guy? The list of his screw-ups is too extensive to recount here. Nothing I could say will alter your fixed view of this man. I suggest history will portray him very poorly. Check back in 20 years and we'll continue the discussion.
To Anon 7:41 pm "Like any of you assholes could do better?" is an irrelevant point. I have not read any of the entries where anyone has said they could do a better job. Irrelevant! Next irrelevant point:Just because you have met him doesn't make him a great guy. Are you saying that everyone that meets you is a great person just as a result of meeting you? Next irrelevant point: Are you saying that if every American doesn't back and agree with everything the president does or says they should move out of the country? That's just plain stupid. For your information, I am a conservative and a registered republican and voted for him in both elections. But my problem with him is the only way he has acted as a conservative is lowering taxes. In every other way he has acted like a liberal. Spending is skyrocketing, even if you excude the cost of the war. He proposed and had passed an entitlement program (medicare drug bill). When was the last time you ever saw a conservative do that? The list goes on and on.Finally, two examples of him keeping his word.1. Last year he threatened congress if the transportation bill was over a certain amount, he would veto that bill. They sent it to him over that amount and he signed it into law.2. Last year he said if drilling and oil exploration in Alaska and Arctic regions was not part of the energy bill he would veto it. Congress took it out before sending it to him and he signed it into law.A real man of his word?
