Am I the only one who thinks the phrase should be, "Guilty by reason of insanity?" The fact that a person was out of their mind at that moment still doesn't take away the fact that they actually committed a crime. This woman, along with Andrea Yates and others confessed of their crimes. They should at least be locked up the rest of their lives.

Okay guys, c'mon. I hope you never have to go through a mental illness.

In the cases with Schlosser and Yates, the legal system should look at the father's more closely for ignoring the problem and allowing them to care for the children in the first place.

Both men knew the women had thoughts of harming their children, yet they allowed them to remain primary caregivers of them.

Look at the whole picture and the whole story.

I know it's hard to understand by you conservatives, but get a grip, mental illness is alive and well in our country and the men need to be held more accountable!

I doubt liberal or conservative title have anything to do with not understanding the outcome of many criminal cases. Justice often does not exist for victims. I hope you never have to go through having you arms removed by an idiot Anon 10:48.
