The Rangers open their season this afternoon with a game against the Red Sox.
The weather looks perfect.
I wish I was there. I won't be.

Forget the "Strangers" and major league baseball in general. Maybe they will threaten to strike again this year. The Cats open on May 11th.(By the way, mathmatically, the "Strangers" have already been eliminated from post season play)
Baseball Opening Day used to be a big event throughout the country. Somehow we're now so inundated with various overlapping sports that it seems very much diluted. But if "the boys of summer" are now at it, it must truly be springtime!
10:41 Your game is @ LaGrave Field with the Fort Worth Cats; no corp. naames, no spoiled rich egomaniacs, and no 'roids to worry about. Just good, clean, get after'em baseball that you can see w/o a telescope and afford.
