Guns Don't . . .

. . . injure people. Our Vice President does.

This is one dangerous guy - with or without a gun. The only reason I'd resist impeachment of Bush is we would get Cheney and if not him Hassert. What choices! While Bush lies unknowingly, Cheney knows the distortions he pushes.

All of you who run down the media, I think it's the government who secretly controls what we know...

hmmm..happened yesterday yet a reporter just now finds out about it...

from the Associated Press...
The shooting was first reported by the Corpus Christi Caller-Times. The vice president's office did not disclose the accident until the day after it happened.

It was just an attorney. Big deal.

Cheney is 3 times the man any of you morons dream about being.

Dick is consistent. If he isn't doing the shootong, he has someone else do it for him. I guess Dick is just a shoot 'em up kind of guy.

I like Mr. Cheney. He has a quiet dignity, and controlled demeanor that refuses to let media interviewers manipulate him. I admire him. AND, if there's an Arab NutJob gunning for me, I'd like Cheney to be in my corner.

What a profound Comment ...

To bad Comment4u is a Woman and I do not think she dreams about being a man either ...

Then again ... maybe neither does he ...

LOL

It was a dang accident...and from what is being reported it was the attorney's fault for not announcing himself when he returned...and he was BEHIND the vice president.

Collection...you lost me. You're, um, right--I'm comfortable in my own skin, thank you. Felicity Huffman needn't worry about me. ;) But, maybe it's just I haven't had enough coffee yet...I don't get it....

....I agree, 9:43--HelLO?!

He's like the uncle you wouldn't leave your own kids with. You just get a "vibe" sometimes. Go with your natural instinct.

They are trying the typical "spin." It was the shootee's fault he was supposed to announce himself. Yeah, sure. Have any of you hunted? The guy with the gun is responsible. The other guy might have been stupid (a lawyer) but the shooter is RESPONSIBLE.

Do you hunt 11:41? I don't go marching up on someone with a gun without letting them know I am there. I pay attention to what is around me and try to know where my hunting partners are but if they wander off, they dang sure better alert me they are coming back. It's one of the first rules of hunting saftey...tell people where you are if you are moving in on them.

That said, it's still just a lawyer.

...if we did that we'd go to jail.

..Cheney will probably get the congressional medal of honor

If Cheney is such a "man" why didn't he serve his country in the military?

If they weren't worried about the incident and not, as always, trying to manipulate the media...THEN.........WHY???? This...
President Bush knew Saturday evening that Vice President Dick Cheney had accidentally shot a hunting companion, but the information wasn't made public until the next day - by a private citizen. The White House did not inform the national media of the accident. The vice president's office confirmed the story after journalists called to ask about the report on the Caller-Times Web site nearly 24 hours after the shooting.

FOLKS, YOU BETTER WATCH OUT ABOUT THE INFO. YOU ARE FEAD (or in this case, NOT fead) FROM THEM!

This one man just happens to be the Vice President!!! That no longer makes him a "private" citizen. He gave that up when he decided to run for public office. And it is the public's right to know, regardless of what you think about your so-called liberal media. Let's just do away with "freedom of the press" and see what happens...

For crying out loud, this is one man's private business!! Who cares if the information didn't get out for 24 hours. Was the security of the country at stake? I think not. This is one man's business and between Cheney and his friend. He was "peppered" by shot, much like many others in Texas each year. I am personally sick of the liberal media making this into a big story. They act like some big crime was committed. GIVE ME A BREAK!!

....I'm sure Barry could've found a more flattering photo too....
