Another Reason Not To Be A Cop

This video occurred 16 days ago and shows about as close to death as an officer can get during a traffic stop. Two things to look for: (1) That officer truly saw his life pass before his eyes as he walks around aimlessly after the near hit, and (2) the lady in the car remaining very calm and asking "Are you all right?"

Now THAT's why Texas, along with most other states, passed that law a while back about encountering a stopped law enforcement or emergency vehicle parked on the side of the road. Can anyone recite the specific rules we are supposed to follow? Don't cheat by looking it up on the internet, if you don't know, and be brave enough to say so. Then, educate yourselves. HINT - It's called "The Texas Move Over Law". I know the rules, and adhere to them, much to the chagrin of my truck's bumper sometimes. Poor officer, I wonder how he is/what his injuries were.

YES I DO.
EITHER SLOW DOWN 20 MPH BELOW THE SPEED LIMIT, OR MOVE INTO THE LANE FARTHER AWAY FROM THE STOPPED OFFICER.

I don't know the rules exactly but I've never in my life passed a highway patrolman with someone pulled over going the speed limit. My daddy taught me many moons ago to either pull over or slow down. It's just common sense.
