Horrors! I certainly hope he didn't wear flip-flops. Recall the volleyball team that was criticized for the flip flops. I doubt anyone would dare complain about Mr. Young's clothes or choice of footwear.
I am a HUGE Longhorn fan who loves Vince, and I am complaining. I agree, he should have worn a coat and tie. Moreover, someone should have insisted that he wear one before he ever got on the bus to go to the White House. I guarantee someone told the rest of the team to wear a coat and tie.
There is such a lack of respect in this country. It is sad and it only is going to get worse.
Well.... Umm... Maybe he just doesn't like Bush? I know I wouldn't dress up to see that douche bag.
Amen, Anon 8:22!!!!And on a personal note, why do we have to follow the dress code that society has set for us in certain situations? I got no say in that dress code. As far as I care, I can wear whatever the hell I want to whatever I want. If I show up to your grandmother's funeral in jeans and an incredibly offensive T-Shirt, and you dont like it, I'll give you the finger and tell you what you can do to yourself.FIRST AMENDMENT BEEYOTCHES!!!!!
Vince should have worn a suit but since he's getting ready to make millions more than the President of hte US, Vince might have thought he sets the dress code.As for calling the President a douche bag...well, your opinion on politics really has no weight. Would it be safe to guess you are a big Clinton supporter who doesn't show the respect for the President you want for your guy?
If you would've read the news story a little more closely, you would've read that his suit got misplaced in a mix-up. Hence the jeans.
Anon 2:50 is a perfect example of the narcissitic general lack of respect for others in this country. Why, I have no idea.
What Anon 2:50 AM doesn't realize, is that those people who wear really "offensive T-shirt(s)" etc., are actually showing a lack of respect for themselves. Sadly, their self-hatred shows itself in their mis-use of their "freedoms". As long as our country allows many freedoms (and I hope it continues to do so), there will always be those whose immaturity tempts them to abuse those freedoms.
Excellent point...anon @ 8:39. So true. Interesting to get the update on the lost suit too...
Some of y'all take other people way too seriously on here. Anon 2:50 was being sarcastic. But, they don't teach about sarcasm until high school, so I guess some of y'all never learned about it.
Did you think he was an intellectual?
