Let's Not Cheapen This

I was surprised to learn that Oprah Winfrey was a speaker at Rosa Parks' memorial service today. Do you think Oprah's life and Rosa's life have anything in common?

Rosa Parks opened doors. It was just a beginning. Thank God for that. And, believe it or not, Oprah opens doors also.

Bull shat! Oprah is a freaking TALK SHOW HOST... That is it! There is a huge huge freaking huge difference between her and Rosa Parks. Do I really need to elaborate?

As much as Oprah might fancy herself as a common person, she is a posterchild for corporate America...

Rosa Parks was a pioneer for civil rights, without thinking it through with dozens of executives and without millions of dollars. However, Oprah does a great job at drawing societal and sometimes even world attention to sensitive and important issues.

Yeah, they're both black women. Difference? Rosa Parks was a pioneer....Oprah? She IS her own icon. Nothing more.

Reason Oprah would actually associate, or liken, herself with Rosa? My opening comments: they're both black women. I think to Oprah, that's all she needs to get started.

We'll remember Rosa Parks. One of these days, The Oprah Show will get cancelled.......

You can absolutely make no comparison to the two as far as their impact on our society. But Oprah was right when she made the comment that she would not be where she is today if it weren't for Rosa Parks.

Oprah is like Jessie Jackson. She shows up anywhere she knows there will be cameras.

Here, here, 10:18!!! You've got that right, straight-up. I hate Oprah.

She's an opportunistic pariah.
