Read on NOLA.com today that even the cops joined in the looting (Times Picayune? newspaper). They should be fired. Guess they have that "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" mentality. Shame.
I guess the best definition of "finding" versus "looting" should be in the items involved, not the people. Food and water should be safely on the "finding" end, but plasma screen televisions should probably be on the "looting" end!
Well said, Barry. This isn't about being "liberal" or being in the "minority". How can that statement in that news article NOT be racist? I FIND milk when I take a carton of milk, but my African American neighbor takes a carton of milk and he's LOOTING? What other explanation for that is there?
Think of how many white people were there? Like maybe 100 out of 20,000 black people. Of course the white people were "finding" things, all of our black brothas were taking all of the good Nikes, and Kool-Aide from us.
