A One Day "Gas Out" In Response to the High Gas Prices

If I get another email asking me (and presumably millions of others) to "Participatie in 1-day boycott of gasoline" in September so oil companies will "choke on their stockpiles and bring down the price of gasoline", I might go crazy.

Its absurd to think something like that would work. I get them all the time too in my email.

I'm going to post this message again, because I'm not sure too many people saw it the last time I posted it:

If you have not done it yet, please consider making a donation to the American Red Cross. Even if its just a tiny bit, they need it more than you do right now. The number to donate is 1-800-HELP NOW. I did it...and it will make you feel good about yourself.

If you cannot afford to donate money, consider donating blood.

If people spent as much time studying alternative to oil and gas as they do trying to start these boycotts, we might have been flying in cars by now. Stop and think about the consequences before you buy in to something like this. Cause and effect.
