You notice they didn't select texas stadium or the ballpark in Arlington. Might have something to do with the fact they have no AC. Dumb.
It could be the fact that Houston is closer. But no, make your absolutely pointless post at any cost.
I was mainly wanting to take a jab at the stupidity of building a baseball park in Texas, for a sport primarily played through the summer, without a dome and AC. So, it's at any cost I'll take a jab at the Rangers and their 'fine management and ownership'.
But this is Texas were are the men are men (at least in Bridgeport) and we don't need no stinking A/C. Those girls that collapsed while running outside were just wussies, right?
Yes indeed, I'd say you are right on that point.
The same management currently in charge of dealing with a national disaster, m&m.
On a serious note, if you have never donated money to the American Red Cross, now is a great time to do so. 1-800-HELP NOW is the number. Also, If you don't feel you can afford a donation, another great way to help is to give blood.
I think the thing that is just starting to sink in at least with me is that these people are gonna be here for a while. It is going to be a very long time before New Orleans in inhabitable again. This is going to impact the economy and our schools and our job market. I know many will eventually move back but it just won't be possible for a very long time. Even the people that initially went to hotels and to stay with friend or relatives now can't go home.
The National Guard is finally at the Superdome - with food and water!
