Bomb? Really? It's spring loaded like a praline bomb.

Glitter is the herpes of the art world.

Actually very dangerous. Don't think so? Go put some glitter in your eye.

According to the article, "glitter bombs can pose health hazards if the glitter enters the eyes, nose or lungs."

So, would this be considered assault with a deadly weapon or some $#it?

I foresee the possibility of new laws on harassing public officials.

If glitter was all that dangerous we would have such a thriving stripping industry.

Our kids are already being taught in schools (public) that you must always obey government officials at all times. Whatever the policeman, city councilman, state legislator, congressman, etc... says is the law.

I think that is going a little overboard. They have no more authority than you or I outside of their official capacity.

I work with the TCEQ quite a lot and they are very bad about telling you what they personally prefer and not what the law actually says.

I despise glitter.

Inhalation of glitter is a great way to run up med bills and test death.
I hope that we can use common sense here and charge those that use these tactics with hate crimes.

Not to mention the danger to the fish.

Wasn't DPS also concerned about women bringing tampons into the legislative session?
