DISD is so clean, from the highup, man,that stadium was as green and pretty as Texas Stadium. What a beautiful place, clean, first class all the way, lots of parking.

Decatur looked pathetic. Offense and defense had no clue what was going on. Quit the 4-5 wide and line up and run the football. Tell the d-line to quit the chicken fighting with the player blocking them and tackle the ball carrier. Bring back coach Actkinson, at least the players played hard for him.

Translation....my kid didn't have enough pride or intelligence to play football and chose to smoke dope and flunk geometry. So, I despise when people discuss football and secretly wish I could intelligently add to the conversation.
The kid who smoked dope will know math better than your football player. Especially the metric system. Oh well, Decatur needs ex uncle Rico's to sell cars also.
DISD should have replaced Coach Story years ago! Seems no one has balls enough to remind him that he is in an occupation that requires he be successful and produce winning teams or else he'll be fired. Other schools sure can handle that. Maybe the 2 ladies now on the board can handle that job. If Story stays - so does Decatur's pathetic teams. I'd have thought Decatur people would have been up in arms years ago about that, but I guess no one cares anymore.

The coaches are doing all they can with what they have. It's hard to win when your suiting up the kinds of players they have now. It is sad to see the lack of talent from such a good community. Also, alot has to do with the parents telling their kids how great they are when really they're not. Before Story and clan came in Decatur had not had a winning season in 8 years. They have had 7 since he arrived, with four teams being ranked in the top 10 in state during their seasons. Again, it's alot easier to win when you have athletes.
supposedly, the quarterback from Addison Christian who totally lit Decatur up last friday is third best in the nation with 4400 career yards so far. I doubt the eagles will look quite so inept against the rest of the local talent.
Did I mention - Alvord didn't just win - THEY BLEW THAT TEAM AWAY! They were the only team in the county to win Friday night, yet, still weren't the top sports story in the paper. Go figure! Nice job Bulldogs!!!
12:55, just going by what is on the Messengers website which says Chico won 42 - 19. They wouldn't be wrong after coming on here and saying it was corrected and it wouldn't happen again, would they? That would be some pretty sloppy reporting if so.
11:18am - So did Addison Christian show up in the 4th Quarter to relieve Trinity Christian? It was Trinity Christian and their D-1 prospect quarterback that lit up Decatur last Friday night.

The kids just seem to not want to play for Cap Prince. Was not a very good hiring decision.
