The bottom of the eighth inning of [last night's] Rangers-Padres game from San Diego turned weird . . . on Fox Sports Southwest as longtime broadcaster Dave Barnett appeared to completely lose his mind, claiming a runner was at "fifth" base and then trailing off into a story about a "botched robbery."
Fox Sports even cut his mic after they realized something was going horribly wrong.

Now we know who the real Rage is.
Gordo went over this just now on the Ticket. He says Dave suffered some sort of head injury not too long ago, may be suffering lingering effects.
I was watching last night and thought it was totally odd, but then promptly forgot about it til the Musers brought it up. Hope he's okay - I really like his game-calling. And I wouldn't want Rhadigan to have another one of those crazy dreams!
Bath Salts!
Wow! Poor guy! I'm betting is a medical condition - possible mini stroke, maybe brain tumor rearing it's ugly self. Whatever the cause, hope he finds it and cures it.
Mini Stroke!?

Mini stroke = TIA
could have been low or high blood sugar if he is a diabetic...not unusual for a person with that condition to veer off topic.
