Emergency Landing?

I'm not certain, but I think there is talk on a scanner about an emergency landing of an aircraft in the county.

Anybody heard anything?

Something about problem with landing gear and waiting for "first responders" to be there?

Edit: The Messenger just put up a blurb about it. They say it is Bridgeport Airport.

My source said "Pilot will shut down all electrical and try to land."  (I presume that's the smart thing to do.)

Edit at 10:53 a.m.: "Landed. No injuries."

That would explain all the sirens I just heard go by my office here in Bridgeport. I wondered what was going on.

Now that AA has plans to shut down the Alliance Maintenance Base, you will see more of this as jobs once done by Americans in Texas are soon going to be done by a third party overseas where drug tests and English are not requirements.

It's probly the new County Commissioner's supplied Air Peetrol Vehicle piloted by non other than Capt'n Tom (Barn Stormin) Bishop who happens to have a bad history with what goes up must come down or somethin.
