Rick Perry's New Ad
I'm just stunned it didn't start with a deep voice over of "One Man . . . " and didn't end with screenshots of "Coming To A Theater Near You" and "This Film Has Not Yet Been Rated."

After the dramatic intro, i was certain whoever showed up in the second part of the ad would have a giant "S" emblazoned on his chest.

That was pretty good. Most effective (i.e., scariest) statement of the ad was Obama's "I'm just getting started." On the downside, that image at :51 is a little 1984-ish.
Did you happen to see Obama's new ad? It's really good and is very spot on.
He's on a stage rapping a tune called "IF YOU LOVE ME------ with the words HOPE AND CHANGE written across his forehead. The best part of the whole ad is his audience. Those poor people have the dumbest look on their faces with slobber flowing liberally out of their mouths and, the word IDIOT is written on all their foreheads.

Idiocracy has reared up again. You could have put anyone in that ad and made them look cool. I bet if you did the exact same ad bashing Obama then have Obama show up where Perry is then Obama would end up looking good.
Just surprised they didn't have the word, "Extreme" anywhere in the ad.
Looks like America is currently a war zone. It made me laugh. Sadly many Americans belief this is the worst of times. Lewis Black has a stand up comedy skit about having to hide under his school desk and the bi-weekly bomb raid drills...he makes you realize, we are wuzzies.

Call me whatever names you what (and I am positive some will) but I believe Perry has a real shot at the Presidency and I am all for it. Do I like everything he has done in Texas? No. Does that automatically disqualify him? No. But Obama was given a chance and he has tanked. Everyday under Obama brings worse news. The only credit I can give Obama is hanging in there in Afghanistan and his refusal to back Pakistan in their UN bid for statehood. Two things right and thousands wrong equals a failure. Sorry libs/dems. He has failed you too by not following through on most of his promises. You should look for a new candidate in '12 if you want to keep the White House.
Did he mention that the Texas poverty rate increased faster than the jobs rate? That we're toward, or at, the bottom on children without insurance, childhood obesity, and health care for the elderly?
