First I had the "You gonna lay down and bleed a little" video and then the "we need more dogs" speech. Now I've got the "hit 'em in the face as hard as you can" pep talk. (And I promise you, my softball girls wouldn't whine like a bunch of ... uh .... girls if I told them to do that.)
Forget about the pep talks, just waive a $100.00 bill at the kiddos to get what you want done. It worked great on my husband when he played high school football. ;)
A little off topic, but within the "kids sports" genre... A stupid headline alert!
While looking at the radar on the WFAA website, I noticed this headline: "Azle teammate thankful football player survived."
That seems like a rather obvious statement, doesn’t it? If it said, “Azle teammate wishes football player had died.” Now THAT would be a news headline! But “thankful player survived” just seems like it should be followed by “Well, Duh!”
(I’m not making light of the topic, by the way; just the headline. Glad the kid’s okay!)
I am surprised with the "bully law" kids can even play football anymore. And coach, be careful what advice you give. My daughter has had a little girl obsessed with her for over a year, every little boyfriend or all her pictures, anything she wears, this girl is all over her to the point where she was miserable. I give her the "you need to stand up for yourself and tell her to leave you alone, or you will have to put up with this all year" She does... the little girl cried. and , my daughter is anonymously reported on a "bully report" Thank God there are camera's at school because I don't think they would have believed my daughter. POLICE came and questioned kids over this. So, be careful what you tell your kids these days!

are you aloud to hit in the face in flag football? if so, we don't need Romo playing for them there gators!
If you allow or encourage your children to play peewee football or cheerlead for them, I feel so sorry for you.
...sweet baby Jesus...
he made that grace his bitch
The "we need more dogs" coach should first go to the powers that be at the university and change the mascot to anything but "Chanticleers".

Hit 'em in the face as hard as you can, now let's pray.
Love it,
