Everyone likes to look at the "big" salaries of these players. But think about it, one man is writting all those checks to the players. I want to be Cuban not Dirk.
JJ is either 1) fixin' to hit the jackpot with the mavs or 2) fixin' the hit the jackpot w/ another team. But one things for sure...this guy is gonna get PAID.
Looking at the salary charts seem to indicate that there are some vastly overpaid journeymen and a couple of bargains. These guys should be paid like pro golfers - on what they are doing for you NOW - not because of some history. Maybe a base salary plus incentives.
Accurate numbers, but they are for the whole year. I see 4 players that are currently not getting paid or on the team anymore so they take their salary to their new respective teams. And there are 2 that are on the payroll but have only been there for half the season.
So yes the yearly salaries are listed, but that isn't what Cuban is currently writing checks for...
Kind of a skewed view really...for what its worth...
