1:59 What an idiot you are. Obviously that money was stolen while in Iraq. How many suitcases would it take to steal that much money? More than a truckload I am sure. Hey guys, this article documents some $6 Billion in cash dumped into Iraq that can't be accounted for. This was done during Bush's (mis)administration. I'm betting much of this cash went quickly out of Iraq and into corrupt Iraqi and American accounts in Switzerland. When we messed up Iraq we had to make an attempt to stabilize the place. We all know how that turned out (it contributed significantly to that huge deficit that y'all are now so concerned about). Yup, we're paying dearly for past confused and inept government programs during the Bush period.
Maybe it's in Pelosi's bedroom...I doubt anybody dare step in there.

421 - You're absolutely right about the mishandling of Iraq after Saddam's fall. You're also right about the spending during the Bush administration -- I've been criticizing the Republican Congress for that since at least 2007. I'm not sure how the deficit increase since Obama took office was Bush's fault. Maybe Obama didn't know about the debt thing.
why in the eff didn't we make a parking lot out of the entire middle east on 9/12. Sure we would have killed a bunch of rock throwing goat herders, but we would not have wasted all that time and money on a war.

Wordy, Please note that the entire cost of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars were "off budget." Bush built a giant debt (that goes on) to pay for those wars. No tax increase to pay for it. No tax increase to pay for the prescription benefit. By not asking for any sacrifice by individual or corporate taxpayers we have accumulated huge deficits. (BTW - managable deficits are not the boogie man depicted by the right).
