There are no drugs in Rhone.

Rhome seems to like drama. Must not be much to stir the pot with these days, so they put up the signs for attention.
Rhome, we know you're there. Stay safe and good luck.

...or fall off the map. Can't Tarrant County annex that hole?

Bud Kennedy was in Rhome?
They have a five star restaurant in Rhome?

That poor police department! Everyone knows their bullied by the council, and these signs make them the joke of WC. That town is an embarrassment! Rumor has it that their Mayor does not even live there because of all the drama.

7:44, there are no drugs in Rhome - Bagdad Bob. All reports of drugs use are lies!

Anonymous said...

The names in the article say it all.......loco! Now you know why nobody wants to live in Rhome, and the people that did move are admitting their mistake and leaving.

Barry needs a satellite office in Rhome. It's getting real embarrasing to be a Rhome citizen with all this BS going on.

The deputies and local police are shaking thier heads on this issue and those responsible over breakfast at Ihop. Just read the article and look who's responsible. It will be another non issue like cell phones in school zones. Waste of taxpayer money. It's very evident by the article who is bullying their Chief of Police. There is more bullying of the police than the punks at any given middle school could do in a year. Their Mayor needs to get of their ass and sign a no bullying proclamation for the town, and a no dumb ass ordinance proclamation for the council members.

I voted for change in the last election, looks like we got chump change instead! WHERE THE HELL IS OUR MAYOR?

Councilwoman Wilson, please stop worrying about a safer Rhome for my kid, I can do that job myself. Take care of your own kid.

If Bud stopped in Rhome, it was to use the Dairy Queen restroom.

LMAO!!!! About as effective as putting a "Love your neighbor" sign in Bywell estates!

Does anyone really think the "Drive Friendly, the Texas way" signs at the State lines,do anything to help highway safety? About the same mentality and Government waste at our expense.

Decatur just got a new CVS. Rhome gets more signs.

Someone give the people behind this a hit off a joint with good SoCal weed. They are way too uptight about this.

Wow. What amazing ignorace on the part of anyone who actually believes there is NOT drug activity and use in Rhome. Just people "passing through" I guess. We see what we want to see. Perhaps someone will look at and report some arrest or WCJ inmate or registered sex offender statistics for Rhome and prove how squeaky clean it is.

Why does BG even care what Bud Kennedy thinks of Rhome?

Bud Kennedy is bored. Can't find enough goodies to report on in Tarrant County and has to come here for an article.

Barry provides. Future clients, perhaps?

THERE IS A TON OF DRUG ACTIVITY IN RHOME 5:34. Always has been, always will be. Only an idiot would think a sign will stop drug use in Rhome. That is not the issue, but enforcing the laws already on the books will. The signs are a waste, someone will eventually steal them and they will end up on a teenagers wall, or in a Ft. Worth junkyard to support someones weekend Keystone Light fix.

Bud has reported on Rhome before, and it usually involves some wacko council person, who has some crazy idea. The last issue was the Rhome council agenda.

Anonymous said...

There is lots of crack in Rhome, Ass crack that is.

Anonymous said...

I hope Bud plants marijuana at their entrance monuments.

Anonymous said...

The Fire Department will run over the signs for kicks.

Anonymous said...

Bridgeport gets a Brookshires, Rhome gets more cheap metal signs.

Anonymous said...

Loves Travel Center will provide all Rhome pot smokers cheap beef jerky for when they get the munchies.

The police chief in tiny Rhome says he sees no sign of any local drug problem.

That is excluding the Meth labs within blocks of the police station.

Anonymous said...

There is no more drug activity in Rhome than anywhere else. A metal sign is not going to shut down a meth lab, only drug enforment officers kicking in doors will.

Anonymous said...

Rhome turns away business with press coverage like this.

Anonymous said...

8:20 because Bud Kennedy and Barry Green are in bed together.

Anonymous said...

The Mayor is tough on crime. This town will be whipped into shape.

Anonymous said...

9:52, the police station is a front for the city meth lab.

Anonymous said...

didn't those signs work in oak cliff and detroit city??

Anonymous said...

10:35 - Right on!

Anonymous said...

Detroit is drug free, all the dopeheads and hippies moved across the bridge to Canada.

Anonymous said...

The rest of Wise County has zero tolerance for Rhome and their garbage.

Anonymous said...

The signs will work about as well as the curfew signs in town.

Anonymous said...

So basically the Rhome PoPo's think it's a bogus agenda, but are being forced into paying for this idea?

Anonymous said...

11:40 WEEELLLLYYYYY you better make a visit to good old Detroit. Last time I checked which was 2010 there were needles and such all over the place.

12:13 WEEELLLLLYYYYY you better make a visit to good old Rhome. Last time I checked which was 2010 there were needles and such all over the place.

Ronald Reagan type politics in Rhome. We are still losing the war on drugs.

Anonymous said...

Air Brake signs, curfew signs, park signs, zero tolerance signs....Rhome.

CVS, Casa Torres extension, new college, South Beach Taco factory...Decatur.

Anonymous said...

So who's brother in law owns a sign shop?

Anonymous said...

RIGHT ON 8:20.

Anonymous said...

Brother in law deal indeed. Just like every other project.
