That poor police department! Everyone knows their bullied by the council, and these signs make them the joke of WC. That town is an embarrassment! Rumor has it that their Mayor does not even live there because of all the drama.
The names in the article say it all.......loco! Now you know why nobody wants to live in Rhome, and the people that did move are admitting their mistake and leaving.
The deputies and local police are shaking thier heads on this issue and those responsible over breakfast at Ihop. Just read the article and look who's responsible. It will be another non issue like cell phones in school zones. Waste of taxpayer money. It's very evident by the article who is bullying their Chief of Police. There is more bullying of the police than the punks at any given middle school could do in a year. Their Mayor needs to get of their ass and sign a no bullying proclamation for the town, and a no dumb ass ordinance proclamation for the council members.
Does anyone really think the "Drive Friendly, the Texas way" signs at the State lines,do anything to help highway safety? About the same mentality and Government waste at our expense.
Wow. What amazing ignorace on the part of anyone who actually believes there is NOT drug activity and use in Rhome. Just people "passing through" I guess. We see what we want to see. Perhaps someone will look at and report some arrest or WCJ inmate or registered sex offender statistics for Rhome and prove how squeaky clean it is.
THERE IS A TON OF DRUG ACTIVITY IN RHOME 5:34. Always has been, always will be. Only an idiot would think a sign will stop drug use in Rhome. That is not the issue, but enforcing the laws already on the books will. The signs are a waste, someone will eventually steal them and they will end up on a teenagers wall, or in a Ft. Worth junkyard to support someones weekend Keystone Light fix.
Bud has reported on Rhome before, and it usually involves some wacko council person, who has some crazy idea. The last issue was the Rhome council agenda.
There is no more drug activity in Rhome than anywhere else. A metal sign is not going to shut down a meth lab, only drug enforment officers kicking in doors will.
