his name was jonny bell
That's the location of Rocky Ridge, not Decatur. Fox 4 has it correct.
I wonder if he was from the same family that had the bad wreck at christmas time a few years back that killed the father and daughter?
Good kid...lots of potential. Sad to see someone so young die so tragically.
He was in my son's 8th grade class at Decatur Middle School. They said he was 14. Prayers to the family.
You can tell them their map is wrong till you're blue in the face and FOX 4 still won't change it. I tried to correct them once when they had Aurora where Azle is. They told me I was wrong.
Rocky Ridge is off 51 N from Decatur. News says it is near SANGAR. They are wrong.Blessings to the family. Very terrible accident, but I have to say. That place out there has absolutely NO safety "patrol" of any kind. It's all at your own risk and people out there ride like crazy. I know my own son was almost in a terrible accident when a four wheeler came flying OVER him ( and he was on a four wheeler too.) VERY DANGEROUS place. My son never went back.
I have ridden Rocky Ridge many times. It is a Tragedy to hear of this at a park i enjoy so much. My prayers go out to his family and friends.I would also like to say, that even though they do not have safety "patrols" this is the first vehilcle death on the ranch! And its so sad that it had to a young man.
Such a Tragedy, my Prayers and thoughts to his family. The map is correct. Rocky Ridge is north of FM 455 on FM 51. It is in Denton County and Sanger's Fire District.
Not the first death there.
My Prayers go out to the Family and Friends!
God bless this family for their loss.
One should never blame a facility for deaths of such nature. One should blame thyself for performing the acts.
he hit a tree broke his neck and fell off a cliff
when you go to a place to enjoy your off road vehicles you do so at your own risk, the owners are not responsible for your safety, this is not the first death at Rocky Ridge there have been several others, it just a tragic accident. Keep this family in your prayers.
I'm in no way trying to take away from this tragedy, but what other deaths have occured at this ranch? Coming from the owners this is the first death other then an individual having a heart attack.
