- Saw the footage of parking lot cam of an old white man walking by (before his beaten to death for $10) only to see two black guys walk in front of the camera shortly thereafter. The cops aren't saying they did it, they just want to talk to them. I cringe if they did it, and I cringe for the damage to race relations if they did not.
- This Toyota recall is just weird. They seem disorganized, not 100% sure of exactly if there is a problem or how to fix it, or what cars are impacted.

The City of Brideport is intolerable to work with. In fact, I believe this to be a reason as to their budget concerns. They have been way to busy kissing up to the likes of Brookshires and other national developers and/or accounts. They, as have too many other local towns, have completely neglected those that have supported them in the past.
City of Brideport shouldn't be having any budget problems considering the price of electricity.

I have one of the cars in the "recall" and I would never buy anything but Toyota. They've handled this with the utmost honesty and I can't see how it could have been done any better. Only a few cars were affected and all they had to do was steer, put it in neutral and brake slow and steady. Toyota has already contacted us and we can bring the vehicles in if we desire for a replacement part. I'm having no problems and will get around to it at my convenience...next service appt. Not a big deal at all and not nearly the big deal the MEDIA makes it out to be. Toyotas are still the best car out there that I've ever driven and I've driven them all over the past 45 years.

Toyota's recall will not boost domestic sales. It was a US-based supplier that made the faulty pedals. The pedals built in Japan don't have a problem. Once again proving that the US will screw up the car manufacturing business any way it can.
I'm glad the Mazda I bought was manufactured in Japan. Unfortunately 25% of the profit when to Ford.
