Maybe they won't serve the frozen dinners that Armondo's tried to pass off as fresh. They better be good to beat Casa Torres (although I'm disappointed that their prices have gone up). I heard that a Taco Bueno might open up where Golden Wok was. Anyone else heard this?
I had Don Jose's for lunch today. Great salsa, fast service and the food was very good. The still have a few things to workout. Casa Torres has become bland and a hit or miss. I hate having the white guy or the white girl as a water or waitress. They both have given us attitude several times when we pointed out that something was wrong. We haven't been back in four or five months. Crazy Pablos in Paradise is fantastic but you must bring your own beer. We eat there at least once a week.
Yeah, life is good here in Texoma, wherever that is. Margaritas the size of elephants? That's big. Just one would probably fill up all the space in the dining area.
Word in town was that the owners of Casa Torres was to buy Armondo's lease and have a place on the highway. 2 Casa's in Elgrande Decatur, this is perplexing. Barry bring out the investigative reportees on this one. Taco Casa will affect DQ and the Bell. Did China Crud on 287 shut down the WOK? I still loved that building when it was Wed. night @ Pizza Inn in 1987-1988. In the meantime go to Bono's, it's K-Bobs with a nice bar.
10:53, the quality of the Decatur Wal Mart has EVERYTHING to do with the quality of the employees and the customer base. A pack of diapers on the shelf at the BEST Wal Mart in the world is not doing anything different than a pack of diapers sitting on the shelf of the worst Wal Mart in the world. So, if the Decatur Wal Mart is a hell hole of an experience. Do you stand in line there and think "this place would be better if not for all these people in line?"....like you?
We don't have any Tex Mex in Nebraska...it sucks. They can't even import Mexicans and get the enchiladas right. They don't even know how to make salsa or hot sauce. I have to drive to Kansas City for Mexican food. No Whataburgers either. Worst city in the United States for food period.
I found a short and curly in my food at Casa Torres and then the owner was a jerk and still wanted me to pay....havent been back since....He forgot where he came from.......
I ate at Don Joses Saturday. The chili rellenos were too cheesy, but the enchiladas were very good. Free queso with meal and very fresh tasting salsa. The $1.99 margarita was the big winner!
2:07 - The Wal-Mart in Decatur has rude employees, not all but a good share. Also, the prices are more expensive in Decatur than they are in other Wal-Mart stores. The customers react to the service and quality of a store. The items themselves may be the same quality as elsewhere, but the savings are nowhere near the same. We need competition in Decatur, then the prices at Wal-Mart might come down. I know this post is not about this, but I couldn't let that comment go.
Hey Maybe that Joe's coming to Bridgeport will be the guy who used to be in Decatur in the old Chicken Express building? He moved to Boyd but that place always looks empty.
they have one in wichita... went a couple times when I was in college... food was not so good and margaritas were not elephant sized... not to mention they had a commercial that ran on the radio stations every 5 sec and SUPER annoying!!

I heard it was Taco Casa.
I heard Taco Casa was going in where Golden Wok was.

I just ate there tonight, all "Don Jose" is is Armondo's with a new name. It sucked.
Taco Casa is the shiznit!
The Don Jose in WF is very good. The Marg will put you under the seat.
Just what we need another Mexican food place!!!!!!!!
How about a Kroger & QT instead???????
Now that is what we really need!!!!
Walmart needs some competition and QT has better flavored coffee then 10 Bucks Star Bucks!
now all we need is a new newspaper and decatur will be a good place to live again
I would love to see a Super Target come here.
If it did, I would never walk through the doors of Decatur Wal-Mart again.
There are some Walmart locations that are decent, but Decatur's is the worst. Still, I sometimes shop there because there is nothing else nearby.
Where is Texoma?
Amondos Sucked.
Casa Torres IS NOT THAT GOOD. The Salsa is good... the rest? meh.
Crazy Pablos is good.
Hope Don Jose's is too.

9:50, "Star Bucks" or Starbucks...has cups of coffee for $2.
I was trying to eat healthier and now taco casa is coming, its going to be very hard. Kiss taco bell goodby!
Maybe this has already been reported, but O'Harlie's in Bridgeport closed down last weekend. A sign in the window says "Joe's Pizaa Coming Soon."
Eat at Don Jose's in WF all the time. Great place.

I love Casa Torres!!
Texoma is a portmanteau, like Arklatex.
We need a souper salad
Casa Torres is good, but the people involved with it are even better.
2:11 - Now you listen here, we don't take kindly to people using them fancy, big city words like "portmanteau".
We are simple folks with low I.Q.'s out here in Wise County.
ok then where's the BIG COUNTRY..smarty?

hey i lost a short and curly there once
I hope their food is better than the one in Waxahachie....bleh phooey

I will add Don Joses refried beans taste too much like bacon
Yeah, a bag of diapers is the same at any Walmart, but the one in Decatur will run out of them before they order any more.
It'ssad that anyone would have to pick any Casa anythings to get a good meal.Haw many junk food places does Decatur have anyway?DAGO
CVS IS COMING ACROSSS FROM DQ!!!

Texoma sounds like something you need to have removed, like "Oh my god, I have a stage two Anal Texoma".
