I've heard of this happening to homes of deceased during their funerals. I've also heard that break-ins increase on small town Friday nights during football season.
The news advertised that the family wasn't home...lots of thieves work that circuit. How many of you would like it if after you left for vacation, the WCM had an article indicating you were off enjoying your vacation?
Devil, I can't move because my house will not sell. I'm a bit more honest than say, the people who sold the house and the people who live around it. I wouldn't do the same to somebody who was interested in the house, full disclosure.
And it is shooting myself in the foot, but also tend to inform them how wonderful it is to live in this quaint little town.
2:39 really? Do you pay school taxes where your kids attend? Move! You can't have best of both worlds'. If B'Port is good enough for YOU to reside and lay your head at night and be protected by B'port police - surely has to be good enough for YOUR kids to attend school.
Im agreeing with wisenurse. I pay school taxes in Paradise WHERE I RESIDE and my children have classmates from other towns. If you want your child to go to school here pay up.
I DO pay school taxes where my kid attends - right here in Decatur - I play by the rules. When I moved to Decatur I looked at the overall picture which included the school district.

Uh, you don't have to live in the town where your children go to school.
I live in Chico, and my children attend school 20 miles away. Slowly trying to break free of this place.

What's up with double fake coming out of the closet ?
Hell...special place...right this way..
This say a great deal about the character of those involved.
Even worst.....
They are likely "friends" of the victim!
Ouch for Bridgeport!
Better off with no friends from Bridgeport!
7:29, Why not move? I don't understand living in a place where you would not even send your kids to school.
7:29, uh...you better be sending your kids to the school district in which the child resides; unless special exceptions have been approved.

Is that the same guy who yells at the coaches from the bleachers?
Great representative for B-port.
On what day will we learn of the lawsuit?
Since the home was in Azle, it's doubtful the "friends" were from Bridgeport. Far more likely that someone in Azle near the home saw the news report.
Imagine what happens to the frivilous lawsuit if in fact the kid was attending that school because his parents falsified info.

Kids can transfer schools. Not illegal. I transferred mine OUT of B'Port. Very much on the up and up. Each district has it's own guidelines for this.

209 most school districts charge more for kids to attend if they live out of district , thans those who live in district and pay taxes.

The Devil is always right. That makes me feel scary inside.

God is there nothing Political about this story so that Wordkill can bore us to death with sad Political commentary?
