Denton County Angry Mob

This idea was kind of a funny concept, but not the best in execution. But I couldn't get over the fact that most of the protesters interviewed didn't quite grasp that the guy was doing a bit. Credit: Denny Crane.

It's fricking hilarious and he's sticking it right in the face of Pelosi, Dodd, Reed and all the other idiots that want a health care package for U.S. citizens. A health care package they have excused themselves from in their own bill. In other words, it's good enough for the "little people" but it's not good enough for those in the Congress, the Senate and the White House. Wake up America!!!

It's obvious what he was attempting, but...failed bit!
If it had been done by a correspondent from the Daily Show, it might have worked

This is the kind on non humor that your hero Gordo does on the ticket.

Maybe they did not appear to realize it was a bit because it was edited. Seems like a bunch of people turned out wanting to know more about healthcare. Is this what the liberals are calling corporate schills and planted protesters?

i'm proud to be a dentonite. whether i agree with all those folks or not, i'm glad to see that everyone there was there to become more informed, speak their mind, and share the space with others who may disagree. i think that spirit, as much as anything, is why they had no clue he was spoofing. good job denton.

2:57 - Yes, this is exactly what the liberals (including Barry) are talking about, and critical of.
3:22 - I agree, except that it seemed that recording was stopped right after they would have had reason to realize they were participating in a spoof. Those being interviewed did not look stoopid.
