I can relate to that. I was working the 2nd shift and was coming home at about 2:00 in the morning and as I turned onto I-35 and headed north to Wise County, I was struck by a truck tire that had came off a south bound truck. It tore the whole front end off of my Ford full size Pickup. Was a bad ordeal.
Reminds me of the time we were coming home to Lake Dallas from work, when that truck had that blow out right before the 121 exit coming in to Lewisville........I tried my best to avoid the debris, luckily didn't break my windshield out from the flying tire shiate, but got a flat.....a freaking flat tire on the north bound lane of I35E from the steel treads of his stuff that I had no choice but to run over...........it took us HOURS to get out of that little ordeal safely..........we came to rest in the breakdown lane.........I can tell you I was near a mental breakdown by the time that was over.......hadn't thought of that in YEARS. Thanks 3:56PM and thanks Barry - NOT!
Screw that thinking about that shiate - I'm gonna lay down and watch the football game.
