I have a seventeen year old son. If his first sexual experience is with one of his teachers with whom he has a good rapport, I think that is his own business. And while , yes it would be a mistake most likely on his part as well as the teacher's. However it doesn't seem to be a mistake which warrants completely ruining anybody's life over. And if it is of that magnitude why would my son not be held equally responsible? If the two of them plotted together to rob a liquor store he would certainly be tried as an adult for that.
So that's just my opinion and I know a lot of people won't agree with it but I guess they didn't raise their kids like I did mine.
I believe in the double standard on these type of relationships. I don't think that this teacher had to twist his "arm" to do anything. I know you wouldn't have had to ask me twice about it.
Just look at her, I say give her double secret probation.
As for the boy, give him mandatory life sentence for bragging and letting his parents find out.
Barry, you really have some kind of fetish about these teacher/student sex stories. I'm sayin you must have some hidden major "crush" lusts for your teachers back when. Dang... let it go, man! But if YOU were a victim of this....wonder why you haven't come forward and said so. hmmm...must have liked it?
If a 17 or 16 year old boy or girl is married, has a kid, and has an affair with an adult, does that adult go up on these types of charges? If not, why not?

As for school, let's do the GED thing and then head north to Alaska, it's Pro-America up there. Plus, they have less Wal-Mart parking lots.

When I was young, older women wouldn't do it with me and now that I'm old older women won't do it with me.
After December 21, 2012 teachers may be doing their students but, it won't be on this planet.
