If you were to randomly pick 20 homes last night in DFW and walk in and see what was on their television invention, only one of them would have been tuned to the World Series.
Really.

Maybe somebody would watch if it wasn't Phillies/Rays...SNORE!
Some of the great "fan for life" World Series moments occur at like 1 in the morning for some people. "Hey Jim, did you see....?" "No Fred, I fell asleep because it was 1 in the fricking morning."

agree... was looking forward to RedSox and Dodgers, to see Manny being Manny against the sox....
If one of those homes that you walked into was mine, your funeral service would be three days later.
Ditto 12:50.
Except it would be a closed casket if you walked in to mine.
The World Series started?
Cute baby.

Baseball is baseball! The world series was great last night!
Baseball is for guys that can't play football.
Baseball is not as "dead" as you think it is. However, it has been on the steady decline since '03.

12:50.....closed casket indeed.
It's the rays and some other yankee team....and they still had one out of 20 homes watching in DALLAS.
Okay... I am a Big Sox fan... and a Big Baseball fan.
But even I will admit it doesn't come close to the draw of the NFL. That IS INDEED the sport of kings... (on the professional level anyway).
Series will be Lucky to draw a 10.1
What a beautiful baby! Thank you bu-bear for posting it.
