He's Still An Idiot

But if you are familiar with the E-Bay auction regarding the letter from Harry Reid (and others) to Rush Limbaugh's "boss", you can watch the last couple of hours of it here.

Edit: The best part is that Rush promised to match the winning bid (all of which will go to some charity). He probably "misunderestimated" how high it would go.

I'm a dyed in the wool Republican and consider myself very conservative but even I don't like Rush Limbaugh. IMHO he's the conservative equivalent of James Carville, who is a complete and utter douchebag.

Capitalism at its worst.

Actually this is pretty funny. I kind of agree that a letter like this is a waste of our office holder's time.
The letter is exactly what an entertainer like Ole Rush loves to get. I am sure he was elated when it arrive. He makes his living by appealing to the bubba's out there who love to hear him tell his radio audience every day about how conservative he is. Rush of course has not exactly lived an exemplary life himself. The real joke is on the fool who would pay that much money for an "historic letter"?? like this. I am glad charity will get the benefit of the foolishness.

He is a genius for exposing Harry Reid for the fraud that he is.

The bid is at like 2.1 million dollars right now. That must be someone who's going to welsh on the payment.

Rather refreshing to see politicians MAKING money while on the tax payer's dime rather than having done nothing but blow tax dollars out their collective elected ahhh...uhhhhh...arses.

Mzchef, When did Limbaugh become an elected politician? And did you and all the other liberals not read where the money is being donated to a worthwhile cause? Pay attention.

Hey, buddy. The name is AssWhip, not MzChief. Pay attention! :)

This whole thing makes liberals stink even more than you already do!! I like Rush, but you don't have to. Neither do the politicians. But to spend time and effort in Congress to try to officially censure Rush is against every bit of free speech rights our country holds sacred. This is just another attempt by liberals to shut down ANY OPPOSING VOICE there may be to the nonsense and lies that you liberals try to spread everyday! The liberal politicians will do anything to get elected!
Just don't think the general public is as stupid as you want to believe come election time...

I'm not your buddy. Pay attention.

My reference was to the document itself having been signed by 41 DEMOCRAT SENATORS who are ELECTED officials and to my understanding signed the document on taxpayers time.

It is nice to see that something an ELECTED politician does on the taxpayer's dime MADE money.

Incidentally, I am NOT a "liberal". I am for TAX cuts, AGAINST public medicine and believe the United States needs to maintain a STRONG and well armed presence in Iraq. I am a LIBERTARIAN who does not believe in the NANNY NATION form of government that is so readily embraced by DemocraPs and RepuGlicans.

You people who ASSUME much with few facts look quite FOOLISH.

Oh, one more thing...Rush Limbaugh is a mean spirited, self promoting, turd/cigar puffing ego maniac.

HAPPY NOW?

That's why he makes the big bucks and donates a hell of a lot of it to charity! Puff on Rush.

I love you Mzchief. I didn't use to but you've grown on me.

You are so right in pointing out that Harry Reid is an idiot.

I think it's great that a worthless piece of paper could help out an honorable charity.

My oh my how the Liberals do hate Rush Limbaugh. The spittle flies when they try to come up with names to call him -- but there are never enough names.

Rush just publicly faced down and humiliated Harry Reid and 40 other Democrat Senators. (Harry Reid actually tried to take some of the credit for the money the letter raised.) They did something unethical, stupid, and "mean-spirited" and got their collective heads handed to them.

Rush represents what Liberals hate most -- someone who disagrees with them that they can't shut up. (Although the Democrats' "Fairness Doctrine" is a legislative attempt to do just that.)

When Liberals can't debate ideas with someone -- which is almost always -- they try to shout down the opposition. If that doesn't work they resort to ad hominem attacks; thus: "idiot," "mean-spirited," "turd," etc.

The Liberals' reaction makes me very, very happy.

You gotta admit it... he really stomped the Libs on this deal. you can tell even (Dingle) Barry is pissed by his infantile sideswipe at Bush (see edit). It's funny how the demos clam up when they get worked like this. And all is right in the world of politics tonight...

Mzchief,
I'm so glad you finally put up a picture that depicts your true personality and image! Happy too that you must have had typingitis! Your inane comments have not been missed lately!

Limbaugh successfully exposed a very sinister twist on our First Amendment that journalists, reporters, Barry Green and all of us who post here should be aware of. Anything we say is subject to attack by the U.S. CONGRESS!

Back at ya, Asswhip.......It is nice to see that something an ELECTED politician does on the taxpayer's dime MADE money,.with regards to R.L.

I just have to tell you all that I am doing a network upgrade on an "elected official's" computer system this weekend - (the boss and all the other users, in some other county, are getting a new server and new workstations), and I was wondering why it was taking so long to transfer the boss's stuff.......

Well, as it is being transferred back to the boss's new workstation, I took a close look, and I'll be damned if I'm not restoring the complete library of Rush Limbaugh's radio broadcast shiate (MP3's)that the chief had been downloading onto their computer all these freaking years..........talk about wasting money!!! That's gonna cost them some bucks from me - I wonder what the county commmissioners would think about that, if I told them what I was actually seeing - I won't, because they probably have the same shiate on their computers.

Now I know why they whine to me about the internet being slow...........HFJC.

wordkyle said...

3:47 - On what do you base your opinion that Rush Limbaugh's show is "shiate?"

Have you ever actually listened to the show? Or are you simply repeating the opinions of your Liberal masters?

I'm constantly amazed at the incorrect impressions people have of what Rush actually says and does. The out-of-context quote that Harry Reid tried to pass off as truth is a typical scenario. And Reid's version was repeated again and again by the mainstream media.

Limbaugh probably has fantasy thoughts about young boys in those "no sex holds barred" islands he visits with his Viagra bottle while he rubs himself with a banjo.

Ya know... I thought Rush was always a little "over the top"...but Ted Turner's picture was alway in the dictionary beside the word idiot. Of course, this observation is a little late for this topic...
