I've been asked a couple of times about an email that is going around warning of new Texas traffic laws including one that requires "hands free" use of cell phones. Not true.

I know, it's tiresome when people hear of someone trying to pass a bill to ban cell phone use while driving (if that's even the case this time), and then go around telling everyone "its a new law!". Come on, people, the legislature has to PASS (or approve) a bill before it becomes law!! CIVICS 101. Of course, our great "media" doesn't help, because they love to report when controversial bills like this are being introduced.
people are ignorant most of the time. hey i heard a 70 screen movie theater was coming to chico. that's right . i heard it so it must be true. it was in the wallstreet journal. i also heard that , oh i can't think of his name but its that guy who predicted all that stuff back 1000 yrs ago, anyway he predicted this flooding that we're getting today.
