Three men were arrested on Monday after the Coppell Police Department’s organized crime unit and SORT team executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence in the 700 block of Fairway Drive.
Police seized more than 179 grams of marijuana packaged for street level distribution as well as packaging and distribution materials and $630 in cash.

As indicated in the report, seems the neighbors had about enough of the drug dealing, and turned the punks in. What comes with a drug house? Loud cars at all hours, bad language, people that are high on dope and other substances possibly and, oh yeah, in a neighborhood with more than its share of school age kids I bet.
What they need to do is cop a plea for obstruction of justice and perjury. Then wait for Bush to commute the sentence. I'm going to try the same thing up here.

No we are talking about six ounces of something that is not nearly as debilitating as six ounces of Alcohol. Yes, it is illegal but only because Randolph Hearst and Harry Anslinger and other powerful people saw that it was hurting their profit margin. Prohibition never works, when are folks like Wordpile ever going to come to their senses. Our prisons are so overcrowded now that they are letting murderers out on early release so they can make room for someone with a few onces of pot. Let's not forget that 9 or 10 states have already voted to decriminalize it. Texas hasn't because there are so few lawmakers in Texas that have any spine.
