One of many places that will close in Bridgeport over the next 5 years. This is just the start. It will soon return to the sh*t hole it was made to be.

Maybe they can move the new doctors hospital to the old Acme plant.

When did king Roy Eaton start posting on this blog?

i hope all those who work there are able to transfer or find other work around but one must ask how many of those who will be put out at the plant are undocumented workers?

You are a sad little man anonymous 4:42pm. Your comments go way beyond “friendly community competition”.

Anonymous 4:50pm, why would they want to do that? They are spending millions of dollars to get their hospital back. Why would you put them down for improving their community? You are truly pathetic.

Oh and they are smart enough to NOT build their hospital by the city sewer plant.

Anon 4:42...Last time I checked, more people choose to live west of the Big Sandy than east. The problem has always been people in Decatur think they live on a mountain but it's really only a little bitty hill.

AHEM!
There is a reason Decatur is being built up while Bridgeport is being run down. I drive THROUGH Bridgeport for doctor's visits, vet visits and to shop. The mentality that is Bridgeport is what will keep it down until there are more NON Bridgeportians running things than inbred old time Bridgeportians.

I am not the one that usually says this, but

Shut up mzchief.

mzchief....you drive through Bridgeport because you wore out your welcome years ago. When people in Bridgeport did not buy into your self important, psuedo intellectual bullsh*t, you were toast. It took awhile for you to realize it, but you finally caught on.

I’ve lost that list of patients who have been misdiagnosed, died or almost died at the hands of that fine Decatur Hospital. WOuld someone please fax a new one too me? I’ll make sure I have enough paper in the fax to accommodate the list.

mzchief, it has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that Decatur has an major highway running through it and Bridgeport doesn't. You know, the exact same thing that killed (and caused towns to move) during the railroad and interstate building eras. This area is a mirror of the two cities this county claims to be different from. Decatur = Dallas. Cosmopolitan, and ultimately shallow and just a facade. Bridgeport = Fort Worth, actually has culture.

Will the new plant in China allow the migrant workers to transfer?

Mzchief,
Please explain this statement "The mentality that is Bridgeport is what will keep it down until there are more NON Bridgeportians running things than inbred old time Bridgeportians."

Why in the world would you speak about a town's mentality when you can't even structure a sentence? Personally, I would rather be inbred than hatched...I'm sure you know of such things...
