Old Cowboy Fans . . .

. . . like me, check out this presentation on the NFL Network: Monday, Jan. 22, 7:30 p.m.: Super Bowl XIII, Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Dallas Cowboys; Announcers: Curt Gowdy, John Brodie and Merlin Olsen (NBC) That's not the glorified NFL Films crap, but a replay of the actual broadcast. It was my senior year in high school, and I watched the game with friends across the street at a neighbor's house. I was sick to my stomach after the game was over - I wish I still cared that much.

me too barry, i was just up the street from you. poor j smith. the ball was right there. soo easy. the steelers didn't beat dallas , but they out scored them just a little bit.
but i have about lost interest in them . don't know if its because of age or jerry jones. i can't stand that guy. he makes me just as sick to my stomach.

Does anyone like Jerry Jones? Most just wish he'd sell and go away.

I just don't care much for ANY professional sports, anymore. Mainly because of the people involved. I agree, Barry. I wish I could care more, too. (I was an ardent "next year's champions" fan of the Cowboys since their beginning. But no longer.)

Those were the good years to grow up and watch before pre-teen. '92,'93 & '95 were the good years while starting the careers. Now that we are all over 40 we beg and pray for 10-6.
