I noticed that the Texas Longhorns will be playing Division I-AA Sam Houston State this weekend. It'll be so bad that, the best I can tell, Las Vegas won't even set a line on this game.
But I was surprised to learn that it will be the first time Texas has played a I-AA school in 14 years.
Edit: The DMN says the line is Texas by 63. It's the largest margin I ever remember.

What is the deal with their whimpy schedule? UNT, Rice and now Sam Houston State. I know Ohio State was in there the second week, but how do they expect to improve and test themselves playing such weak schools?
Next, they'll be playing Bridgeport! And after that, they'll play Baylor! (Oops, Baylor is a conference game.)
Well they aren't playing any conference games yet. That is one reason. Next is money. Little schools along with Texas make millions off of these games.
I figure at least one UT starter will blow outs knee in this game.
SOrry, blow out a knee.
